Something New. . .

Over this last weekend Katy and I decided that we wanted to go someplace new. We ended up going to Squaw Creek Wildlife Refuge in northern Missouri. It was about an hour and 40 minute drive but it was well worth it. Though we didn't see an abundance of wildlife, some of the views were fantastic. We are planning to go again once the leaves start turning. Definitely not the best place for someone afraid of heights, as I am :)

We saw a few deer, a squirrel, and more than enough snakes. Katy even had her first encounter with a blue racer, she loved it. When it comes to snakes I think she is a little nuts lol. Check out her FLICKR page

Our First Pin-Up Style Shoot

Despite my flash dying and one strobe that kept firing for no reason we had a great shoot. I must admit I was a little nervous as this was my first time ;)

Brenda, as always, was a great model to work with and I hope we get to work together again some time.
