Small Family Adventure

Saturday, November 7th we made the last minute decision to drive to Ha Ha Tonka State Park. Nearly a four hour drive later we had the opportunity to explore a 3.5 story burned out mansion that sat atop a more than 200 foot cliff, a water tower that was built even higher. When it was in operation, in the early 1900's, the pump had to draw water from the lake and push it nearly 300 feet straight up. The caves were not open to the public so we went to see the land bridge and huge sink hole. The island had some great views of the cliffs and spring.

Beautiful park, we hope to return there again in the spring and enjoy the trails that we did not have time for this time.

A small video and a few photos have been posted Here
